At long last, I am taking some time to get nakamoto.ca cleaned up and operational again!
For many years starting around 1999 it was the home of my personal photo gallery and news posts, but once I started using Instagram and facebook, my website slipped in to disrepair.
I have cleaned up the site and started to add in some new sections, including a projects page. Hopefully I will be able to import all of my past posts from instagram / facebook and start fresh here!
"Lost in thought and lost in time,
While the seeds of life and the seeds of change were planted,
Outside the rain fell dark and slow,
While I pondered on this dangerous but irresistible pastime.
I took a heavenly ride through our silence,
I knew the moment had arrived,
For killing the past and coming back to life."
from "Coming back to life" by Pink Floyd
The tree is decorated!
first ski of the season! ground is not frozen so the snow is pretty sticky underneath, makes for a good workout
Picked up the yearly Christmas tree at Innisfree! Another 10 footer that was growing up right next to a larger one. It is slow going (one tree a year) but it is a great way to prune the forest.
Prepping bulk zippers for my latest project. Pulled out the old Singer 128 and got her cleaned, lubricated, and tensioned. So nice to work with a machine that was meant to be self-maintained.
Eleanor is prepped for winter. My system is now down to two 2x4s, a tarp, and some bungees.
